Very disappointed by the service department not having the vehicle ready on time and not calling to give any updates
Came in for oil change 8 am. Four hours to complete. Only got out that soon because I complained to service manager.

I am a long term regular customer. Bring my Toyota to get it serviced at Sterling McCall Toyota for the past 20 years. The past two service appointments have taken up to 4 hours for just an oil change and maintenance service inspection. During my last service appointment they left off the tire valve stem caps on all my tires and one center wheel cap. I am definitely not coming back to this dealership. I drive an hour to bring my vehicle to get it serviced and it is not worth the drive. The service has most definitely deteriorated over the past ... Read More

Lupe that works in sales and Mauricio that works in fiance were tremendously helpful and very customer friendly. They were so polite and genuinely kind. They were not forceful in any way but rather attentively listened to our desires. We would recommend Group 1 Toyota!!! Thank you Lupe and Mauricio so very much for your extravagant service. Nice waiting area with free coffee, cappuccinos, & water. I had an appointment for 11:20 on Saturday morning. I arrived just before my appointment time but ended up sitting in my car for 35 minutes waiting for them to actually process my car. Not a five star interaction.
George, the service advisor was very personable. Explain everything to me… wait time and service was OK….. for all that I had done it was reasonable

The huge purchase for me was the best experience I have ever had at a dealership. From the friendly greeting at the door, to T.J. leading and walking me through the process with his partners, to the signing of the paperwork. The day for my family and me was so special, as the situation which brought me in was very difficult. We all left happy and I love me car! Thank you!
Since the long, lengthy construction it is very nice and comfortable waiting area, and inviting.

Great service. Fast. Efficient. Friendly. Waiting area is comfortable and has coffee machine. Transportation provided after dropping off your car if you live not too far away
Be careful purchasing from them if you don’t drive the car. ( don’t buy sight unseen ). I sadly bought a car which I had shipped to me in Calif. I relied on “ transparency of the sales person and dealership “ to inform me of any and all issues with the car before purchase.
Needless to say they only disclosed one of 6 things wrong with the car. One being a major mechanical issue which I was advised to not drive the car unt it was fixed.
Of course my communications to this point were ignored. Go figure. Surprise surprise.

The guy giving out numbers at the service area was terrible at communicating my next steps. He stood around for 5 minutes chatting with a colleague never acknowledging me or telling me to give him a minute. However Mr. Gus was wonderful, explained everything clearly. Showed me the estimates and confirmed all the services I wanted. Pleasure to always work with him.
Was quoted 45$ online and they tried to charge me 80$ despite giving me a coupon that they magically couldn’t locate on their computer until I pulled it up on my phone.
Took too long. They removed the key to my steering wheel lock from my keychain for some reason and left it on my dashboard. It took several minutes to find it. I thought it was missing
The overall service experience was very frustrating ordeal and left me dissatisfied with my visit to the Group 1 Dealership.
Honestly the dealership blew me out of my mind in a good way. I was able to be comfortable inside the building while waiting for my car to get fixed and they took exactly how long they predicted to take for the service to my car and it was really great. I would 100% recommend.

Service department time management and communication is not reasonable. The staff seem to be too busy to handle customers in a polite manner. This is my secound experience and when you all had the tent service was way better

Long wait time. Oil change took 2 hours. No update while waiting. You have to go and check every 15 min if your car is ready. They didn’t replace front window sticker for next service, didn’t turn off dashboard lights (that I initially went for). Not sure if they even changed the oil.
The staff are enthusiastic, and the premises are clean and hygienic—an excellent Toyota service center.
Good service but wait too long if estimate time to wait to customer when booking an appointment.

The wait time is more than one hour for 25K service (no oil change). There is a lot of room for service efficiency. The waiting area improves a lot than 3 months ago. The Wi-Fi is fast.

Awesome service bit expensive but a peace of mind ... specially Mr. Gus Charles really helping person. i really appreciated Mr. Gus Charles.
While my advisor was great, the wait time was unacceptable, over three hours just for an oil change. On top of that, the quality of the work was extremely poor. One of the TRD skid plate bolts was left loose, the skid plate itself was scratched, and oil was spilled onto the battery connector. I also found oily handprints in multiple areas of my car, including the interior door panel. This level of carelessness is very concerning.

I have had my vehicle serviced here for over 7 years. Lately, I have had Kevin Cruz (Assistant Service Manager) as a Service Advisor. He is awesome!!! He is super customer focused, personable and relatable, extremely courteous, very knowledgeable, exhibits a high level of professionalism and integrity.
I just don’t like my finance guy, Mauricio Rivera bc he didn’t provide clear instructions for wire transfer

They did a great job during my recent oil change. I really appreciate that they were honest and upfront in letting me know they couldn’t rotate my tires because the special key for my lug nuts wasn’t available. I value their transparency. At my previous dealership, tire rotation was listed on the service paperwork, but I’m confident it wasn’t actually done since they didn’t have the key either. It was refreshing to deal with a team that was straightforward and didn’t claim to do something they couldn’t. Thank you for the honest service.

Group 1 was extremely professional and took their time sharing information and answering our questions. We didn’t feel rushed or hustled at all during our experience. We got an excellent deal on our trade-in as well as on our new vehicle and this is our third purchase with them.
Don't communicate. 1 tire took 4hrs. Always trying to sell repairs for new parts. Always trying to sell a new car. Your just a number.

I was told the Alignment has 1 year warranty so today the agent refused to look at it and said we are busy so they even put regular oil instead of fully synthetic.
The environment was very receptive from the outside to the welcoming inside. The salesperson came to us and the conversation took place in a very good way. I also liked the cappuccino.

I’m here right now. I had a 10.40 am service appointment. They recently did some renovations and now they have no sign showing service department. The door is closed and I had to drive around few times and ask several people and they all say it’s on the other side. Finally I had to park and go inside. No greeting no nothing from anyone. Once again, Mr. Nelson did not disappoint. He is always attentive and takes the time to ask what’s going on with your car. I truly appreciate them squeezing me in on a Saturday for a last-minute appointment. The team consistently does a great job, and I’m always satisfied with the service.
My oil change took two hours with an early morning appointment. Over the past year the service time went to from great to fair.
The lounge area is very comfortable, but the service still has many opportunities for improvement

I selected this rating as an average for the Toyota vehicles and the service at this Group 1 dealership. I would have rated this place a ten or top rating before Covid and when run by David Mello. Since Covid and after the remodel the service quality has declined significantly. I am hopeful they are “working the bugs out” after remodeling the service area. The systems for added service is faulty - doesn’t work. The up-charges need to be explained and justified.

I was very pleased with my visit to Group1 Toyota Southwest Houston for my service on my Toyota Highlander. The service department has been completely reconstructed with an amazing look and welcome feeling. My sevice Advisor Brayan Lehr was also very courteous and knowledgeable on what my Toyota needed and was not overbearing. I would recommend Group1 Toyota to anyone who would need service on their automobile.
I bought the car but didn’t pick it up yet cause they are saying it needs maintenance and they haven’t yet done for a week now. Also they are not responding to emails
The service is very good. Angel is an excellent agent and very professional. I will continue to use Nissan services.

Good experience. Everything was well explained! Absolutely love all the information we received that was necessary. Only thing missing was our forms of agreement for the car, that we are still waiting to receive. But everything else was great! Everyone is really kind.

Very pleased with today's service. Marcos Flores was very personable and communicated everything clearly. The newly remodeled building is very nice; thé music is still too loud and intrusive, however. Fortunately, I brought my own noise-canceling headphones. Thanks again to Marcos for a good visit.
My advisor is great, no complaints here. However, there's always some kind of an issue with the actual car service, not to mention the long wait. Today they again forgot to put a reminder sticker on my front window. Last time they forgot to add fluids and I had to go back. I could go on. Frankly, I dread looking under the hood today to check on fluids. I understand that the mechanics are tired and overworked, which contributes to their mistakes, I just don't like that it becomes my problem, as their service is far from free.
They informed me what needed to be each time offered me a way to pay less over the next theee visit.
